Dr. Phyllis Barnette is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience as an administrator, educator, clinician, supervisor, and trainer in the substance use disorder field. Holding a Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc) from Campbell University, Dr. Barnette is credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) and a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) through the NC Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board (NCASPPB). She provides essential clinical supervision and support for professionals pursuing or renewing their credentials in addiction counseling.
Dr. Barnette’s dedication to quality service and servant leadership is evident in her extensive community involvement and collaborations with grassroots organizations, faith based entities, and advisory boards at the local, state, and national levels. Her work is guided by a commitment to addressing public health and social issues through innovative, community-focused solutions.
